Pregelatinized Starch
Starch gelatinization is a process that breaks down the intermolecular bonds of starch molecules in the presence of water and heat, allowing the hydrogen bonding sites to engage more water. Pregelatinized starch has been used in food, pharmaceutical, paper making, textile, and oil industries.
Our oil field starch products are used in filtration control, drilling fluid, and other purposes and meet all requirements set at API Spec 13A, Section 16, 16th Edition.
Our pregelatinized starch is made with corn or tapioca (cassava) starch. Potato starch is more expensive and we will make it only by specific request. We will custom make any starch products based on your specific applications and requirements.
